Diversity

Our team’s diversity and openness have always been a source of strength for our company. Since our inception we have always worked on defining our internal values, diversity and respect were at the core of the beliefs put forward by our team. One thing we have learned over time is we also need action. Accessible PDF has always ensured that everyone felt safe, and has promoted education through open and honest conversation. Out of those discussions came a path forward to give back in a meaningful way. If you don’t feel we’re living up to our word, we ask that you tell us. The only way forward is together. 



A glimpse of our teams efforts:

  • Develop our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy and road map, making it accessible to our team so they know where we’re heading and how they can be part of the effort.   
  • Compiling all of our policies around diversity, inclusion, and equality into one space for enhanced transparency, and leveraging data to ensure bias on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality is flagged, reported, and eliminated.
  • Continuing to educate ourselves and our employees on social issues through our Town Halls, lunch and learns, and team socials, including hosting external speakers to help us develop a common understanding of diversity, inclusion, belonging, and equity.   
  • Formalizing policies empowering all employees to leave work to join peaceful protests.
  • Building a formal volunteer program, that will recognize and reward team members who donate time or money to a non-profit, backing their actions with our support, including by providing paid volunteering days.

We’re committed to building accessibility and diversity into the Accessible PDF platform and offering that you know and love. As we share our progress, we ask that you take part, and challenge us to do better through open and honest conversation. We’re not the experts on the needs of each community, but we are committed to listening and making improvements to build inclusive into the core of our services.
